SUP Overview
The smaller counterpart to the company’s 11-0 and 10-7 SKYLAKE BLUE inflatables, the 2019 Earth River SUP 9-6 SKYLAKE BLUE is designed for smaller, lighter paddlers who need a high-quality iSUP with outstanding versatility. This all-around paddle board measures 9’6” x 31” x 5” and it weighs in at a lightweight 18 pounds.
An excellent choice for travel, this compact board can do it all. Recommended for flat water fun, SUP fitness, fishing, light whitewater, and small surf, the ERS 9-6 SKYLAKE BLUE offers excellent maneuverability and stability. A board that can be enjoyed by paddlers of all skill levels, this board is easy to bring along on any adventure.
As with Earth River SUP’s other inflatable paddle boards, the 9-6 SKYLAKE BLUE comes with a premium traction pad that features multiple patterns for optimal grip and comfort. The larger front section of the deck pad features a comfy croc pattern while the smaller rear portion has a diamond groove pattern, raised foot bar, and kick tail for increased grip while performing pivot or bottom turns.
Also located at the board’s tail is a high-quality inflation valve and a stainless steel D-ring for attaching a SUP leash.
Mid-board is a carry handle that’s covered by a soft neoprene material for improved carrying comfort.
Located at the board’s nose is a 4-point bungee storage area which is handy for those times when you want to bring along a dry bag, soft-sided SUP cooler, or other SUP accessories. There’s also another D-ring at the end of the board’s nose for tying the board off to a dock, boat, or another SUP.
Positioned on the underside of the 9-6 SKYLAKE BLUE is a versatile tri-fin setup with three removable fins. The two smaller side fins utilize a click-in system while the larger center fin makes use of a universal US fin box.
