POP Paddleboards Inflatable SUP Reviews
POP Paddleboards Royal Hawaiian
An eye-catching inflatable SUP that really stands out on the water, the POP Paddleboards Royal Hawaiian is the smallest and most maneuverable iSUP in the company’s 2019 line. The bold stripes are nicely complemented by a beautiful floral design, giving off a definite old school surf vibe.
The Royal Hawaiian measures 10’6″ x 30″ x 6″ and it weighs in at 24 pounds. There’s a single removable fin on the underside and a 4-point front bungee storage area for stashing your backpack, PFD, or dry bag.
While this board offers less stability than the other two inflatables in POP’s lineup this season, it can still be enjoyed by paddlers of all skill levels and the all-around shape delivers good performance in a wide variety of water conditions. If you’re looking for a unique inflatable that definitely stands out from the pack, the Royal Hawaiian is a great option.
POP Paddleboards 11′ Inflatable
A popular all-around model that offers excellent versatility and stability, the POP Paddleboards 11′ inflatable SUP is 6″ longer and 2″ wider than the Royal Hawaiian model, offering additional stability that’s really helpful when you’re just starting out.
POP’s 11′ inflatable paddle board model weighs in at 26 pounds and it’s capable of supporting a max weight of 325 pounds. The versatile design of this board allows it to be used for flatwater paddling, surfing small waves, SUP fitness, paddling around a child or dog, and much more. There’s a small front bungee storage area for securing cargo, a convenient grab handle at the tail, and a single removable fin on the bottom.
The most well-rounded iSUP in the company’s range this season, the 11′ model is a no-frills board that offers a nice blend of stability and versatility.
POP Paddleboards El Capitan
The largest inflatable SUP in the company’s lineup for 2019, the POP Paddleboards El Capitan is a board that provides anglers with an extremely wide and stable SUP fishing platform. The El Capitan features a Scotty mount near the nose for attaching a fishing rod holder, Fishfinder, and other accessories. There are also dual-bungee storage areas for increased cargo capacity, handy front and rear grab handles, and extra D-rings along the rails for tying down your tackle box or SUP cooler.
The El Capitan measures 11’6″ x 36″ x 6″ and it weighs 36 pounds. This oversized SUP packs 310 liters of volume and is capable of supporting an impressive 420 pounds of weight.
While this board is obviously designed with angling in mind, the wide stable profile also makes it an excellent choice for SUP fitness workouts.
