Aztron is a brand new SUP company startup that’s launching a full-range of inflatable paddle boards, hard boards, and paddling accessories for the 2019 season. While many new paddle board companies initially launch their brand with one or two models, Aztron has wasted no time in rolling out a complete lineup of models ranging in size from 9’6″ to 16′.
First and foremost, we really like the fact that Aztron is putting a high-priority on paddling safety. All of the company’s inflatable SUPs feature double chamber construction which will ensure that the board stays afloat in the event of a seam blowout or serious leak.
In addition to making their iSUP range safer, the dual-chamber design also gives a significant boost when it comes to board stiffness. The company claims that overall rigidity has been increased by as much as 30% as a result of this design.
We also really like the design of Aztron’s boards. These are great looking inflatables with attractive graphics, tasteful branding, and nice attention to detail…
As far as construction goes, Aztron used a dual-layer fusion technology for the entire range which is more environmentally friendly, cuts down on glue usage, and dramatically reduces overall weight.
At the moment, Aztron’s inflatable SUP line consists of 10 models including several all-around boards, touring models, a river SUP model, a race board, and two multi-paddler iSUPs.

The smallest all-around inflatable paddle board in Aztron’s 2019 lineup, the Aztron LUNAR measures 9’9″ x 32″ x 6″ and weighs in at 22 pounds. This board is a good choice for smaller paddlers and it combines stability with an extremely versatile design. As with all of Aztron’s inflatables, the LUNAR incorporates the company’s dual-chamber construction for added safety and rigidity. There’s a 4-point bungee cord storage area at the board’s nose for securing your dry bag, and the 4mm thick EVA foam traction pattern features a diamond groove pattern for excellent grip.
Aztron MERCURY 10’10”
The Aztron MERCURY is another all-around inflatable paddle board model being offered by the company this season. This board is their midsize all-around model, measuring 10’10” x 32″ x 6″ and weighing 24 pounds. The Aztron MERCURY comes with all of the same features and versatility as the LUNAR model but adds a bit more length and weight capacity.
