  1. I just inflated a new stand up paddle board, for the first time and found it leaking at the seam, mid way , bottom seam.., I inspected all the other seams, visually and also a soap-water spray and found the leak in one area only.., about 4 inches in length.. the entire seam along this side has many areas not glue sealed.., but not leaking..

    Brand name is: IBATMS

I’ve tried to check if it was recalled.., but could not find anything, but it’s hard to find all recalls easily..
Please contact me if you find it on any lists..

    Thank you,
    Regards,

    Mel

    • Hi there,

You’ll need to contact the brand/retailer you bought it from for any warranty issues.

      Mike

  2. Understand that cutting the center fin with the serial number is required US Coast Guard but it is such a waste and environmentally damaging. Can Gili retrieve the board and recycle or reconstruct???

    • I do not believe Gili is offering any return or pick-up service for the boards. We have been able to upcycle old iSUPs. Cutting the deck pad from the board is a great way to make a durable mat (I use one in my truck bed). I’ve also kept the D-ring and other accessory mount patches for future repair/replacement and I’m currently working on using the remaining PVC to make tote/grocery bags using HH-66 PVC cement and rivets.

  3. can you tell me if my paperboard is affected by the recall? the website will not allow me to put in the full serial number. please email me and let me know.
    serial number: LW2007732

  4. Interesting that my board is not part of the recall – but I have a hole in the side that occurred without any kind of crazy harsh hitting rocks etc.
    Used it one summer… hole.
Emailed and just told to try to repair it.

    Will never purchase Gili again.

    • I’m sorry to hear that your board has a hole! Small holes in inflatable paddleboards are easily and quickly repaired using the repair kit that was included with your iSUP. Simply deflate the board, clean the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, apply a thin layer of the included adhesive (or HH-66 Vinyl Cement or Aquaseal FD) and apply the patch with pressure overnight. I hope you’re able to get back out on the water soon!
