Review: Best Sea Eagle Classic NeedleNose 14 Features
The Classic NN14 bundles maximum flotation, stability, and rigidity into a touring package that is one of the best tracking inflatable SUP boards available. Ultimately, it’s a good choice for riders weighing 275 pounds or less who are searching for a high-performance touring SUP. Smaller paddlers would be better off with Sea Eagle’s smaller Classic NeedleNose 116 or Classic NeedleNose 126.
The beautiful curved touring profile paired with the straight-line hull allows the rider to easily adjust the board’s performance by stepping up or back on the diamond patterned deck pad. The custom kick tail design enables easy pivoting and kick turns, scoring big points when it comes to overall handling.
Tracking on this board is outstanding. The board comes with a large removable center skeg, along with two non-removable side skegs.
Conveniently located at the front of the Classic NN14 is a grab handle, and there are also multiple D-rings and elastic cords at the bow. Sea Eagle included the ability to attach a seat to this board, and it has center seat D-ring attachments for that purpose. On the rear of the iSUP is a large D-ring for towing or attaching a leash.
