Ten Toes Globetrotter Review: SUP Overview
The Ten Toes Globetrotter SUP has nice retro styling and comes in two colors: white and gray, and black and red. Out of the two color options, we definitely prefer the white and gray version.
The Globetrotter is made out of a military-grade PVC material, and the board features drop stitch construction. This gives the Globetrotter added rigidity and strength, and it feels very similar to a hard SUP board when fully pumped to the recommended PSI.
On the deck of the board is a nice EVA foam, high texture traction pad which provides excellent grip. There are also 4 stainless steel D-rings and a bungee cord tie located near the nose of the board for securing valuables.
We would love to see a grab handle added near the nose of the board. As of right now, the board has a single grab handle located in the center of the board. There is also a D-ring located at the board’s tail for towing or attaching a SUP leash.
The Globetrotter 12′ SUP has a single fin setup, and the large nylon fin is removable.
As with all inflatable paddle boards, the Ten Toes Globetrotter is super portable. It takes only minutes to inflate and deflate, and when fully deflated, the board rolls up like a sleeping bag to a size of only 11″ x 36″. It will easily fit into the trunk or backseat of any car, and can be conveniently stored under a bed or in a closet when not in use.

What’s Included
The one thing that we would really like to see included in the future is a backpack or carrying bag, which makes it much easier to transport the board. Ten Toes prices their SUP boards very affordably, so it’s understandable that a backpack was not included with the Globetrotter.
If you need a bag, the company does have two backpacks available for purchase: the Ten Toes RAMBLER (a basic rucksack), and the Ten Toes NOMAD (a wheeled roller bag). Ten Toes also has a nice SUP leash for sale.
Last but not least, Ten Toes also includes a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects and a 50 day money back guarantee.

Final Thoughts
Having said that, if you’ve got some paddling experience under your belt and are looking for a long and fast touring SUP, the Ten Toes Globetrotter is a really fun board that is priced very affordably. The board is extremely well-built, and should provide you with enjoyment for many years to come.
